Software Developer in Test

We are building a world-class Big Data platform that will give us the power to process streams of data and enable machine learning and advanced analytics capabilities. Everything will be cloud-based for scalability and speed to market. As a Test Engineer, you’ll make sure our real-time datasets are high-performing, quick and stable. You’ll develop high-quality test cases, including automation and performance. You’ll have the opportunity to cross-train within the team and learn about a range of data technologies, so we need you to be keen to learn and interested in new tech. What you will be doing
  • Ensure our real-time datasets are high-performing, quick and stable
  • Develop high-quality test cases, including automation and performance
  • Write acceptance criteria alongside developers, analysts and product owners
  • Collaborate on technical solutions and communicate goals and results. Our data scientists will consume your prepared data and use it to model machine learning algorithms
Who we are looking for We are committed to responsible gambling, and we are looking for people who can support our ethos. To apply to this post, you will
  • Have experience with the full SDLC in an equivalent environment as well as experience with SQL and NoSQL to test highly detailed data transformations
  • Experience in test development within automation frameworks, focus on the automation of CI Build, ETL Processes, Gatling, and Rest-assured frameworks
  • Experience with cloud solutions for Big Data (Snowflake, GCP BigQuery, AWS Redshift) ,Python is a plus along with experience with Big data platforms: Apache Spark / Hadoop
  • Agile mindset and practice in software development process such as Scrum, Kanban, TDD, BDD
