Principal Strategic Project Manager

Here at evoke, our Principal Strategic Project Manager (PSPM) is a strategic asset, specialising in tackling intricate, complex, high-impact projects. You’ll be a versatile leader and the go-to problem solvers for very complex programmes and projects, utilising your expertise to deliver high-impact solutions that drive strategic value for the business. In this role you will have previously managed and delivered successfully large scaled highly complex technology high value programmes without support. Plus have the ability to manage senior stakeholders across different geographies. You’ll be structured and methodological and an expert on project management using tools like JIRA and Doviko. The expectation is that you’ll look after one large highly complex programme which sits across muti-domains or two medium sized projects in isolation and therefore without supervision. You will have the ability to collaborate effectively across these different teams and domains you’ll be invaluable behind the company’s most critical strategic initiatives. What you will be doing:
  • Project Management with agility, you’ll lead complex projects from concept to completion, collaborating with Delivery Leads and teams across different domains, ensuring that we are always looking to unlock incremental value with early continuous delivery, able to pivot easily with change
  • Strategic Focus you’ll directly influence the company’s strategic goals. Navigate complex dependencies and ensure deliverables align with the broader business objectives. Working to achieve strategic goals by solving problems and implementing new processes and solutions that accelerate effective delivery and decision making
  • Lean Governance you’ll champion lean project management principles, minimising waste and maximizing efficiency. Implement streamlined processes and effective controls to ensure project success, utilizing waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Exemplary Stakeholder Management, managing stakeholder expectations is crucial. Project Managers excel at communication, keeping stakeholders informed, proactively mitigating concerns, and building trust and strong relationships
  • Cross-Domain Expertise you’ll possess a deep understanding of various development domains within the company
  • Risk Management you’ll be adept at identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll implement proactive risk management strategies to anticipate potential issues and develop contingency plans. This ensures that risks are addressed promptly and effectively, minimizing impact on project timelines and outcomes
  • You’ll be committed to delivering sustainable value by addressing both immediate and long-term challenges. You’ll focus on creating solutions that not only meet current project requirements but also anticipate future needs and potential obstacles
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and leveraging your extensive experience, you’ll drive innovation and ensure that the solutions provided are robust, scalable, and aligned with the company’s long-term vision

  • Expert project management with in-depth experience leading successful projects, demonstrating a mastery of project management methodologies and best practices. You’ll have experience in a range of project management methodologies and will be able to deploy them flexibility to match the requirements
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to analyse complex challenges, identify potential solutions, and align projects with long-term business goals you’ll have the ability to identify any analyse problems to identify root cause and creative solutions
  • Risk Management Acumen, adept at identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks. You’ll develop contingency plans and proactively implement measures to ensure project success
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration. Your communication skills are crucial to build trust, manage expectations, and lead diverse teams across different domains
