Senior Front End Developer

Our team is developing the New Global Trading Platform, focusing on flexibility, performance, responsiveness, and resiliency. We’re leveraging a range of technologies including React, Cypress, Yarn, Styled Components, Vite, GitLab CI, Kubernetes, and AWS. As part of this initiative, you’ll collaborate with developers working on our REST APIs and WebSockets to create high-performance, low-latency interfaces for our users. We’re seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to enhance and maintain our interfaces. This is a hands-on role within a dynamic delivery team, so you’ll be actively involved throughout the entire development lifecycle. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to contribute to the design of our interfaces. Working directly with customers, you’ll create wireframes and mockups to craft exceptional user experiences. What you will be doing
  • Develop interfaces for end users in collaboration with the team
  • Design solutions to be both performant and user-friendly
  • Investigate, reproduce, and resolve defects
  • Refactor code for improved performance and maintainability
  • Review code and offer constructive feedback
  • Pair program with other UI developers
  • Mentor and coach frontend development for fellow engineers
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability
Who we are looking for
  • Experience with React, Redux, and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Proficient in CSS techniques, preprocessors, HTML, DOM, HTTP, and browser performance
  • Experience building software from inception to production, with familiarity in version control systems
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery principles (e.g., Scrum or Kanban) and capable of taking a leading role when needed
