You can be sure there are many more challenges waiting for you.Your role in the teamA Delivery Lead is responsible for improving the capability of teams. Shining a light on delivery and providing radical transparency. They help teams find a sustained path for continuous improvement and review and manage interdependencies. They support Product and Engineering colleagues in creating effective roadmaps and delivery plans and facilitate detailed planning activities to ensure work can be delivered within teams’ capacity and capability. They identify conflicts, tensions and communication improvements and facilitate their timely resolution. An important aspect of self-organizing teams is that the team lead facilitates or guides the team in performing technical management activities instead of taking on these responsibilities him or herself. The DL is a servant-leader of the team, creating and maintaining the conditions that allow the team to be successful. And an agile coach, helping to keep the team focused on delivering work items and fulfilling their iteration goals and commitments that they have made to the product owner. He or she acts as a true leader, facilitating communication, empowering them to self-optimize their processes, ensuring that the team has the resources that it needs, and removes any impediments to the team (issue resolution) in a timely manner.   • Ensure that team planning & estimating is effective
  • Focus team/s on delivering work to achieve commitments & agreed iteration goal
  • Support Head of Product & Head of Engineering in their delivery of product releases that are valuable and reliable
  • Support the Product Owner who will manage the backlog and guide the team
Communication & reporting - informed decision making
  • Manage communication with leadership, teams and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth and clear communication, ensuring transparency and alignment
Skills needed
  • Proven experience working with agile development teams
  • Experience as a scrum master or agile project lead
  • Excellent communication skills - both spoken and written English
  • Experience of working in a multinational company with multiple locations
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Experience in managing risks and solving issues
  • Knowledge, certification, experience using Agile approaches (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban, SaFE, Nexus, DSDM, AgilePM)
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Contributing to the Agile Centre of Excellence
Desirable skills
  • Coaching and facilitation skills& qualifications
  • Technology background or qualification (Computer Science degree or equivalent)
  • Experience as a delivery lead, project manager, scrum master, software developer, QA, engineer in an Agile environment
  • Demonstrate good usage of JIRA, Confluence and GIT
  • CDA, CDALSM, CDAI, CDAC certifications from PMI are desirable
