Making the World a better place with Bottle Caps Initiative!
Today we’d like to inspire you and prove that each one little step on a journey to become more eco and sustainable matters. Let us present 'Hey, Bring a Bottle Cap' initiative. Yes, it's about plastic bottle caps.
Less than a month ago, we ended the Grand Parade Together for Charity initiative, which was a great success. Despite the ongoing holiday time, we didn't want to take a break from doing good and helping others.
So after a short brainstorm, we decided that we will start collecting bottle caps! You may think "But what's the point of collecting bottle caps?".
From our perspective there are two important reasons:
- By collecting caps and recycling them we are saving our planet by eliminating the need for using plastic. Just think for a minute...how many plastic bottles do you use every day? It is true that the cap is only a small part of the bottle, but collecting caps from all employees and families gives us a really large amount of plastic that can be reused. And that's not only about the environment, because we have a second reason!
- At the same time, we support disabled children as all money raised from selling caps for recycling purposes is donated to Bez Tajemnic Foundation. The Bez Tajemnic Foundation was established in February 2012 as an initiative of volunteers of the program of collecting plastic caps intended for the purchase of rehabilitation equipment for disabled children. At present, it is the largest charity and environment protection program focused around collecting plastic caps in Poland.
So...double good! And we don't need to mention that it's super easy too...
The aim of this initiative is to make people aware that through a small act, which is collecting caps, you can help children and protect nature. Collecting Bottle Caps it's not rocket science - it's a really small change in daily habits that at the end of the day can make a difference in someone's life!
