Senior Strategic Project Manager

Do you have a wealth of experience within a senior change delivery role? If yes, this could be the role for you.

Our Strategic Change team are focused on delivering the Product and Tech critical strategy roadmap items, ranging from platform migrations, and new market expansions, to significant compliance programmes of work.

This role will report into one of the Heads of Strategic Change Programmes. As a team our ultimate objective is to deliver critical tracks of work, which are highly valuable, to the expected outcomes in time, quality, and cost. We are laser focused on where we want to be in the future, and what needs to be done today to get us there.

What you will be doing

  • Delivering the key change projects as part of our 3-5 year Product & Technology strategic plan
  • Ensuring that a quality project management service is delivered to senior stakeholders, with exceptional communication
  • Implementing robust, but lean governance, reducing bureaucracy and overheads wherever possible
  • Supporting the development of a culture of change and transformation within 888 William Hill, wider that the immediate Strategic Change team
  • Demonstrating best in class project management
  • Identifying and managing mitigation for project level risks
  • Designing and delivering a clear roadmap of activities to achieve our project strategic plan
  • Measuring and tracking the success criteria for our change initiatives and support the company on illustrating the benefits of the strategic changes we are making.

Who we are looking for

  • Previous experience within a senior change delivery role with project management and organisational skills, whilst being data and research led in your thinking.
  • Proven track record of working in a matrix structure and collaborating with a wide network of colleagues.
  • Experience on delivering and completing successful change projects with excellent problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically and critically in developing efficient approaches to change.
  • Impeccably organised and have excellent communication skills in order to impact the wider business with the ability to communicate the positive side of change to the business.
  • Comfortable working with multiple senior stakeholders and with the ability to articulate our strategic vision to the business.
