Tomasz Manugiewicz rocked the virtual stage of Agile Tour London 2020!

Today we've got an amazing success story to share!

You all know Tomasz Manugiewicz who on daily basis is supporting the company and specifically Gaming teams as an Agile Coach. But did you know that after-hours he's lecturer, speaker and facilitator too?

Some of us had already a chance to see Tomek rocking the stage on Devoxx or DevOps meetup in Grand Parade back in the times where we could meet in the office on our regular meetups.

And yesterday London agile community had a great opportunity to experience it too and see and hear his presentation on Agile Tour London - three-day long conference filled with talks, workshops, forums and games focused on agile, the DevOps mindset, digital leadership and more!

Tomek presented a talk called 'Living between Agile Culture and a DevOps Mindset'. How it went?

See Tomek's experiences described below:

I admire these moments when I establish rapport with my audience. I start making a contact with listeners since a very beginning and as time goes by, I feel more and more connected with them.

I can tell you - it is worth to travel across the globe to have this feeling.

Yesterday I was supposed to be in London to run my presentation during the Agile Tour London 2020. Because of the Covid-19 I had to do it remotely. There are definitely some aspects that I miss in the on-line conference setup. For instance, this famous “magic moment” between saying “thank you” and hearing the applause from the audience.

But I am grateful for these circumstances. I learnt new aspects of virtual public speaking. Thank you Mariann Boros for being such a great host. Grand Parade / William Hill - now I am ready to use this knowledge in our organisation :)

PS. I never dreamed I’d have my speech right after Mary Poppendieck's presentation - the legend of the software development world. Since yesterday. Never say never :)
