Grand Parade at Devoxx conference
Grand Parade, part of William Hill, was the main sponsor of this IT industry reunion.
Devoxx was a great opportunity to promote Balance, our approach to hybrid working. To represent Balance, we designed our booth as a micro-park in the middle of the International Conference Centre of Krakow. The combination of natural grass floor, wooden lounge furniture and giant Jenga drew in a crowd, and our intriguing riddles captivated them. Many guests came back every hour, eager to crack the next riddle.
Our engineers available in the booth chatted constantly with a number of guests, talking about Grand Parade and the technologies we work with.
Of course, the most important part of Devoxx was the inspiring sessions. Grand Paraders lead three of them. During his “Back to the future!” presentation, Tomasz Manugiewicz showcased 20 years of the Agile movement, trying to predict its future. In the other one, Tomasz Manugiewicz and Bartek Gerlich spoke about the importance of creativity in IT organizations.
Over three incredibly intensive days, we had a chance to meet a number of talented developers who, hopefully, will remember Grand Parade as a vibrant workplace and a valuable next step in their careers.
