We process 500 online Sportsbook bets per second each Saturday, that’s the same as orders processed by Amazon UK, on its busiest day of the year. We deal with more than 20 million users daily. Impressed? You can be sure there are many more challenges waiting for you.

What you will be doing

  • Managing department AWS infrastructure - including provisioning, upgrading and research for any service required. Current stack includes: EC2/ASG, EKS, MWAA, MSK, API Gateways, S3, Lambdas, RDS and more
  • Providing and mentoring high quality monitoring, alerts and metrics. (NewRelic, Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, PagerDuty)
  • Supporting data department in building CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab) and automatization
  • Leading Data department transformation and transition from legacy on-prem solutions, including redesign of existing flows to modern cloud native architectures
  • Ensuring security, operational and supportability guidelines are factored into the construction of solutions

Who we are looking for

  • Extensive AWS expertise with services such as EC2/ASG, EKS, VPC, ACM, ELB, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, Route53, and RDS; Kubernetes and Linux containers experience at an enterprise-grade production level; AWS/Kubernetes certifications
  • Proven track record in Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform; advanced CI/CD pipeline experience; hands-on programming skills (Bash, Python, or other); experience creating reusable cloud architecture and composable Terraform modules
  • Working knowledge of configuration management, provisioning, and orchestration tools (AWS Systems Manager, Ansible, or other); experience with logging/monitoring tools (Splunk, NewRelic, AWS CloudWatch, or other); SecOps experience
  • Familiarity with various Linux systems, networking fundamentals, firewalls, load balancers, and inter-account AWS communication; experience with hybrid infrastructures; Airflow/MWAA, Kafka/MSK, and Snowflake experience; working in Agile methodologies
