We deal with projects ranging from widgets, desktop or mobile casinos and betting sites just to name a few. We process 500 online Sportsbook bets per second each Saturday, that’s the same as orders processed by Amazon UK, on its busiest day of the year. We deal with more than 20 million users and 160 terabytes of data daily. Impressed? You can be sure there are many more challenges waiting for you.Your role in the teamAgile Coaches serve a specific business area, for example: Sports or Gaming. Working with the Head of Product and Head of Engineering, they are responsible for driving the performance of these areas and they will build a Continuous Improvement backlog’ that is meaningful and relevant and facilitate its prioritisation. They ensure that improvements are fed into a CPTO view.The coaches are also involved in identifying and solving cross-cutting challenges, and also helping to implement wider CPTO ways of working initiatives such as DORA metrics, DevOps and Guardrails. Helping the CPTO . Leadership team identify common themes and impediments to high performance. The coaches are also educators and knowledge experts in Agile techniques and practises such as Value Stream Mapping or Disciplined Agile. They create timely education including leadership workshops and training programmes (e.g. Krakw People Experience Initiative, New Manager Training, Balance Training Program, Gallup’s StrengthFinder), and coach individuals (e.g. coach Delivery Leads in how to help teams to improve capability).Drive constant improvement in Agile Delivery capability across the business through exceptional understanding and application of Agile and DevOps product development tools, culture & techniques.Work alongside delivery and leadership teams to deliver business value.
  • Support Delivery Leads in continuously improving team capability
  • Support Product Owners and Delivery Teams in providing competitive products
  • Establish relationships with Leaders to enable individual coaching where beneficial
  • Actively support Acquisition & Retention and Customer Protection & Payments leadership teams
  • Coach and support the DevOps journey to improve performance using DORA metrics
  • Introduce innovations and challenge the status quo
    • Challenge anti-patterns and behaviours not aligned to our Values and Vitals
    • Showcase our values & vitals
    • Foster a Lean/Agile mindset (self, team & stakeholders)
  • Teach, coach and facilitate effective Agile techniques, ceremonies and governance
Identify organisational impediments and contribute to coordination and resolution across businesses.Strong focus on DORA metrics to identify continuous improvement opportunitiesValue Stream Mapping, Continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment (CD), improvements.
  • Identify, organise, create, deliver, enhance education when appropriate
  • Support and/or teach those colleagues in pursuit of their DA certification
  • Drive and service demand for Agile knowledge using our LMS (Learning Management System)
  • Guide communities’ to achieve shared, valuable outcomes
Skills needed
  • Successful delivery leadership experience (e.g. Scrum master, delivery lead, technical lead, lead architect, test lead, release train lead)
  • CSM or similar Agile qualifications.
  • Variety of Agile/scaled frameworks (e.g. SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, DAD) for 5 years
  • Experience in Coaching for at least 2 years
  • Experience as a Scrum Master or equivalent for at least 2 years
  • Good skills in Jira, servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, continual improvement, empowerment, increasing transparency, ceremonies, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing.
Nice to have
  • Betting industry experience, DORA metrics, Jira Portfolio (Advanced Roadmaps)
  • Coaching qualification and/or CDAC/CDAI (Certified Disciplined Agile Coach/Instructor)
  • Accelerate (Learning Pool) Learning Management System
