Senior Software Developer in Test
- Contribute to building a cutting-edge, cloud-based Big Data platform that supports real-time data processing, machine learning, and advanced analytics
- Ensure the performance, stability, and quality of real-time datasets by developing robust automated and performance test cases
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product owners to define acceptance criteria, design technical solutions, and align on goals
- Support a learning-focused environment with opportunities to cross-train and explore new data technologies, requiring curiosity and adaptability.
- Experienced data engineer with strong focus on data quality and full SDLC involvement, including hands-on testing using SQL, NoSQL, and automation frameworks for CI, ETL, and performance validation.
- Proven ability to work in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) with an interest in becoming the SME for testing; well-versed in TDD, BDD, and supporting Data Science/ML teams.
- Skilled in Big Data technologies like Apache Spark and Hadoop, with integration testing expertise and end-to-end performance monitoring.
- Familiar with cloud-based Big Data platforms (Snowflake, GCP BigQuery, AWS Redshift) and programming in Java and/or Python.
