Cloud Engineer

• Providing operational support and product improvement to our Orchestration toolset
• Consulting with Delivery teams on usage of public cloud (AWS) platforms
• Working closely with Architects to deliver high quality products
• Working closely with others providing coaching and guidance
• Driving our expansion into AWS through effective DevOps principles, clean Terraform code, Docker/Kubernetes orchestration and automation
• Work within an agile engineering squad to enhance operations and speed up feature delivery
• Engaging and directing any Proof of Concept’ or prototyping of applications to continually move us forward
• Ensure security, operational, and supportability guidelines are integrated into solutions by liaising with relevant teams to clarify design implications.

Who we are looking for

• An excellent working knowledge of configuration management, provisioning, and orchestration tools such as Terraform
• Robust focus on security in public and private cloud and experience of working in an Agile development environment
• Excellent background in Infrastructure as a Code including management and testing infrastructure deployments
• Excellent Linux system admin skills
